Gingerbread and Honeycomb give birth to the next Android Version

Google's next version of Android will be a mix of Gingerbread (for phones) & Honeycomb (for tablets), says Eric Schmidt.

Devices like Samsung Galaxy TAB and Dell Streak could benefit hugely from this upgrade although it remains to be seen whether it will support both phones & tablets. It sure sounds interesting though.
